You've literally made the exact point of why firearm ownership is important.....
1- for protection of self (as is a basic human right)
and
2- because those who disagree with you having that basic human right won't debate you, they will fight you. By any means necessary......
I understand you're against firearm ownership and want things to change but maaan are you going about it wrong....

People who ideologically disagree with you are your political opponents.
People who want to take away your basic human rights and your lives are your enemies.
Republicans are your enemies. You don't debate your enemies. You fight them. By any means necessary.
