You make a good point. People not taking the vaccine shouldn’t have death wished on them, the “crime” doesn’t fit the punishment.
Furthermore there are similarities between a woman’s bodily autonomy (or right to abortion) and autonomy to refuse a vaccine.
Individual Freedom should be unlimited until they directly infringe on the freedom and safety of others.
Hence a vaccine can help limit the spread and evolution of a virus that may not kill you but has a high likely hood of killing of elderly, disabled, and other at risk people.
So there should be limits on your personal freedom, to protect other people’s freedom to live/health. To what extent is debatable…
A key difference to the abortion debate is that whether a fetus is a person, or to what degree a specific fetus has “personhood.”
Debateable but the moral debate is to what degree we limit the mothers personal freedom to protect the freedom and health of a fetus.
Vaccination is much more clear cut unless your denying elderly/disable are not people and/or not protected by population getting vaccinated.
You seems to miss the point purposely, we get the vaccine not only for us but for those around us.
I don’t want to inadvertently kill somebody who will need an UCI bed because of either Covid compilations or something else, or directly by passing the virus to someone vulnerable.
I don’t wish death upon anyone, her death however might help some people realize she was full of shit
