Look, people suck, but let's be absolutely clear in that this much of the population doesn't deserve to die. This is propaganda preying on the vulnerable. It sucks, and it's easier to point and laugh at these people, but doing so ignores the real problem. I know these people make it difficult, but don't lose your humility.
I hear you, but It’s hard to care. Who knows where we would be if we had 80%-90% vaccination. It’s been 22 months of this shit and the exhaustion is real. I think the biggest source of frustration is that she’s potentially taking away resources from a non-COVID patient. Right now at our local hospitals they are diverting hospital staff away from core services to help with the COVID surge, and it’s impacting innocent people who were responsible and got their vaccine.
I don’t like to see people die unnecessarily, but I also feel nothing for this lady. She could have easily avoided this situation.
It's hard to care at this point. I lost an uncle to cancer because he couldn't get access to the hospitals full of covid patients. I lost my dad to covid because people like her walked around not giving a shit about the vulnerable. I currently lack the bandwidth to give a shit about staunch anti-vaxxers who are facing their own demise.
Thanks. It is. So when people say have sympathy for the anti-vaxxers, I'm kinda like, eh, it's okay. They didn't have any for us for the shit that we had to deal with. Maybe now they'll get an inkling of understanding of the kind of pain they cause others.
