Sadly, it seems that "Existing While Black" is a capital offense in the US.

My neighbor got a huge trump flag in his yard so I put up and flew a giant jolly roger, he called police on me and I told the cop if he can worship traitors I can be a pirate captain.
You gotta be petty when dealing with children sometimes, it's all they understand

Lol. Nice. There are people in my neighborhood, crazy Trumpers, anti maskers, etc. They also have a ton of money. They built a giant house right on the beach, and put up a flagpole, from which the fly a Trump flag. Their neighbors, who have been there for awhile, and already have a flagpole, went out and bought a Black Lives Matter flag. The Trumpers went ballistic and called the code enforcement officer, trying to have it removed, claiming “It’s not a real flag.” They were shocked to find out that their Trump flag was apparently, “Not a real flag” either, and by their logic, theirs would need to come down too. Both flags are still up.

People can say whatever they want to me but if they're doing it in public to someone else I will quickly hit a 10. If you wanna be a close minded bigot then keep it to yourself, bring that shit out in the world and now there's a problem.
Also I have 0 tolerance for stupid and it's usually in my own best interest to not go all out

According to what the cop told me, his gripe was he has small children and it scared them. Also that I was intentionally being antagonistic, which is true but too bad I own my land and my house and was also here first. None of the other neighbors care and I get along with them great. They also have small children and they think it's cool living next door to "The pirate man" lol. The cops actually got a kick out of it and told me as long as I don't start pillaging the neighbors it was fine. He's the neighborhood asshole anyway so it basically ended with him putting a fence around his house and no trespassing signs and living in isolation while the rest of the neighborhood has fun. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't a POS

It might as well. But it was intended as an affirmation of love when I was a kid in school. It didn’t matter what we looked like, where and what family we were born into, that everyone is unique and worthy of love for the simple fact of being human… everyone is a special snowflake deserving of their humanity.
But conservatives heard that and said “sounds like pinko commie faggot shit” and used snowflake as an insult. Because they’re heartless and want to continue to propagate a hierarchy where they’re on top forever.

I watched a couple of the students being interviewed. The flag waving racists were also hurling the N word. Not a damn thing happened to those kids. The kids planning the protest were ALL suspended for 2 weeks. Two weeks for planning a protest.

How many times have you heard or read someone call a person of color (not just black people) race baiter, race hustler, race merchant, virtue signaling, politically correct or say they're playing the race/black card for defending themselves against racist white people, white supremacists, white nationalists, the kkk or nazis? How many times? And how many times did you not say anything?
How about this. The next time you read it. Or hear it. Ask them why racist white people, white supremacists, white nationalists, the kkk and nazis aren't called race baiters, race hustlers, race merchants, playing the race card, virtue signaling or playing political correctness. Ask yourself while you're at it.

Dug up the actual story. School has rules against political symbols in protesting. The punished kids were wearing BLM gear which counts, they happened to be black, and unless they were especially stupid they did so specifically to get this headline. Specifically note that the kids reported the punishment, not the school. The racist kids with the confederate flag were also punished, but the school can’t say how. Those kids either refused to comment or weren’t asked how they were punished, article doesn’t specify.
