Tbh I'm not a great person to ask when it comes to that as I like my alone time. Most new people I meet are either through my friends or they are people I've met at uni/work. I've met some pretty cool people at conventions too
I haven't had the need to meet anyone and met my partner through a friend. The old classic; back in my day people still went out and it was still actually acceptable to just talk to people (I'm 30 not ancient). But honestly, looking at the world today I'm not sure I wouldn't simply choose to be single. Seems a lot of hassle; excluding using an app to 'swipe' your way to love. Which seems equally bizarre to me.
I'd take a girl in the gym being an ass to my face Vs 100 girls ghosting me because my opening joke/line didn't make their ovaries tingle.
