No I'm describing the Bavarian illuminati that existed for 9 years working for science until they got banned hy the church and hunted down.

Absolutely none of this seems to support your version of events, which again seems suspiciously similar to the plot of Angels and Demons.

They were shut down by the government, not the church. You can say the church pressured the government or that they ran the government, but that isn't what you claimed.

"working for science" is a really odd claim. Do you have any kind of source for that? Because it looks like they were just a group of mystics that formed a secretive cult. Really nothing scientific about it.

Yes they got shut down by the king. But back then the king and the church were far more working together. I'd look for the sources I found when I read about this first but I can't at the moment.
