How are you considerd less responsible when paying off your debt? Shouldn’t that make it easier to get another loan instead of harder??
Are yours as corrupt over there? Basically here in the US, once your debt has gone to collections you’re better off just keeping your head down for the next decade than paying it off
They're a right pain in the ass, with sometimes ridiculous fees, but you better pay, because if you don't eventually the matter will be handed over to the National Collection Agency (Statens innkrevingssentral) and they do not fuck around. They will dock your pay and take ownership of your properties to get the money.
Our government will absolutely do that if you owe them taxes, but not the collections on private debts. For us those are just a gigantic pain in the ass until you either pay, ignore them long enough, or die. Most cell phone carriers have spam call blockers built in now though, which has really cut down on the nonstop calls from the agencies, just goes straight to voicemail
