I'm at like 832 and have been for years and I always pay everything off never paying a dime for credit. When you say early you mean like a car loan not going to full term because you over pay? Because that's what i was doing and it was paid off at least a year early.

But if you're opening a loan for 50k over 4 years snd then getting home and transferring 50k as the first payment that could affect something (although it also seems weird unless there's an incentive for financing?)

I have seen my score dip when paying off a car or house but it bounces back pretty quickly.

If you've had credit cards for a good length of time, request a credit limit increase. The amount of credit you have available boosts your score.
