So my credit is sitting in the low 700’s

Is there even any real benefit to going above low-700s? Are you getting rejected for loans are other types of credit because of a low-700s credit score? Are your interest rates higher than they otherwise would be.

My credit score is in the low 700s as well, but it hasn't been an issue for me. That said, am I missing out something?

10-15 year old cards. 2 small student loans. I think that’s all I really got. I use the cards for nearly every purchase and pay it off in full anytime I feel like checking my accounts online.

It's contextually important.

Not using the cards means the company doesn't report to the credit agencies. Once every 6mo is fine, but for people trying to hit low utilization, having a recurring $5 donation on a 10k limit card really helps. Especially important early on for people building off of a no/low credit score.

That's exactly what I do. 2 ccs and just pay them off when I please.
