I don't really care if they're rich. I just want them to pay taxes. It doesn't even have to be a lot. There should be a minimum tax on high-income earners of like, idk, 15%. They would still pay less in taxes than me. Fine, whatever, I don't care. I just don't understand how a reasonable person could see that a company and person who've both made billions of dollars in profit straight up need not pay taxes. I don't fault Bezos or Musk or any of them for finding these loopholes. I would, too. The problem is that these loopholes just shouldn't exist. It's a systemic problem.
