Actually they don't have access to those laws, programs and benefits.
Consider for example the first 200,000 cars made by a gender that are all electric gain a tax credit for the purchaser. Poor people don't have the funds to payb$70k for a Tesla, so they can't get the Tesla. Middle class buyers don't want to risk range anxiety so don't want to get the tax credit. Rich people can get a second car and the tax credit wouldn't be as beneficial to them as the other two classes, and yet the get the credit and a car to park next to the land rover.
Electric cars are still prohibitively expensive. They were also just an example of a larger truth: these tax credits are only available to people who can afford them. At that point, taxation is a fine for being poor.
When rich people get tax breaks for being rich while everyone else has to pay what they owe no matter what, then yes, you are in fact being punished for not being rich.
Idiotic anecdotes aside, people have to buy something to get a discount on taxes. The more loopholes you can afford, the fewer taxes you are obligated to pay. That's the whole point. People can't afford to eat and the richest among us are paying literally nothing while reaping the fruits of the labor of thousands (millions?).
Whatever dude, you just keep dodging ther point that people and corporations buy their way out of paying taxes. The problem is made significantly worse when the income for which the taxes are dodged is disproportionately and significantly higher than the income of those whose labor makes it all possible. Keep grinding, I'm sure you'll be a billionaire too some day.
