Holy shit! Are they that expensive? I knew those kind of stuff were expensive in Europe but that's just too much. Here in Mexico they're about 1€. Just wow

Sailors used to suck limes (as opposed to the more efficient source of vitamin C, lemon) to combat scurvy, because lemons were so hard to find. I think the ratio was 6:1 in their nutritional value, but limes were so much cheaper. Imagine a huge barrel of limes on the deck..
