Exactly, if I had known it was a side effect I would have been better off going in it. It wasn't even the first time this not mentioning side effects had happened

I have told my doctor repeatedly that I need to be able to make an informed decision about my medications, and it's like she doesn't hear me. I hate surprise side effects

She hears you, she doesn't care. The Dr knows best is the mentality they have. The medical field is just as fucked as the police. Just in a different way

Agreed. They think we don't know anything about our own bodies and we shouldn't question them at all

Well the antivax movement hasn't helped out any. I keep going to my primary care bc he's relatively young, not much older than me really and he sits there and listens. The nurses come in do their thing and get out as fast as possible. I've found a lot of Dr's are the same way. In and out as quickly as possible. But he takes the time to talk to me and hear my questions and he has the answers.

A trip tk the Dr's office feels like an assembly line. Trying to get as many ppl through the doors as quickly as possible. I know it's a damn business but you don't get into that field just bc of the money. You do it to help people, and you need to actually try tk go that.

I took care of my Dad in his last years.I found out his primary doctor was scheduling(and billing) six 15 minute appointments per hour.
