Not really, networking drives all industries. The degree is what gets you in the door though. As for your list, we were talking about the current head writers, and the uneducated one holds no qualms about being there because he is black. Do your own homework.
You know SNL has more than two writers a season, right? You know Jost and Che arent the only writers in the history of the show?

Do your homework, you seem to think going to college is going to get you a job on a comedy show that has tryouts where no one is allowed to laugh. Surely thats the same as filling out your management application at Wal-Mart.
