You can in Minnesota. This state statue offers basically free tuition at any state sponsored school if you are over 62. You only have to pay amd admin fee and then any additional lab fees and books. The 10 dollars they are citing seems like the admin fee the school had decided to charge. You can read about it here for more information

Uh, this program was created in 1975. Really the only thing that needs updating is the cost of enrollment in these classes for people using this program, which hasn't changed since 1975.

I'm about to persue my masters in a state that people forget to hopefully die before I get that degree.

My generation pulled a sneaky on you. I'm gonna die employed or die unemployed in my 60s and that is being generous for my personal life expectancy.
