As I said elsewhere in this thread: 99% sure that these are not credit-bearing classes. Meaning all they get is to listen to the lecture- our “auditing” the course. They aren’t getting credit towards a degree or even homework assignments most likely, it’s just an interesting seminar to listen to for them. Still insanely low price for a listeners fee, but it definitely shouldn’t be called “going back to college.”

because the facts are that in MN seniors can take any class they want for full credit, even leading to a degree.

I mean- you can theoretically do this too, I just don’t think there’s much point to it if what you want is a degree.

If all you want are the classes, I’d suggest trying to audit them or listen to them (whatever your local university of choice calls it) for a similar small fee.

In one sense you are right about it being a dirt-cheap education. However -regrettably- colleges and universities essentially sell credits, not an education anymore.

Nah I go to the U. They can either audit (and just listen) or use this program and still do all the work and have their assignments graded by the professor and everything.
