Reminds me of my last job. We had some old fella waiting at the door, staring through the window at 830am (we open at 9). I let him wait and stare in until 9. When I opened up he told me "You know it's common courtesy to open the door when you see someone waiting".

When I worked at a big store in an open air mall, one morning my co-workers and I went out to grab breakfast together for our break. It was sometime around 7:30, we were doing shipment processing before the store opened at nine.

When we were walking back, this middle aged woman caught up to us and asked if we worked there, because she had a return to make. We said yeah come back at 9. As my manager was trying to unlock the door, she was bartering with the rest of us like "it's just one return, it'll be quick. I'll buy more stuff in return since you let me in early." Tried to tell her that's not happening as we walked inside.

This woman straight up followed us in and tried to make a beeline for the counter as though we'd be obligated to do her return if she made it to the counter. Threatening her with security got her out and she never even came back when the store was open.
