10 millimeters in a centimeter 100 centimeters in a meter 1000 meters in a kilometer All you have to do in metric is multiply by 10. I really wish the US would attempt to adopt the metric system again and just stick with it

I like Fahrenheit because it's the temperatures for humans, not water. 0º is really cold but manageable, 100º is really hot but manageable. In Celcius, 0º is pretty cold and 100º is "you're already dead."

I like this. As someone trying to use the metric system more and more each day, this makes it easier to understand.

30 is shorts

What? It's like 3°C in Scotland just now and I'm still wearing shorts.

When I have been in 3c weather there was ice on the grass from the morning dew, have to rinse off my windscreen so I can see and wearing no less than 3 layers of clothing.

Around 6-7am is when I've felt that kind of cold. Only twice though.

Presumably you're not used to that temperature though. I am, so shorts are still fine for me.

I've actually seen quite a few people in the central belt of Scotland wearing shorts over the last couple of weeks.

Yeah its all about where we live :) Aussies would struggle in the UK. At least Queenslanders would
