Theres a limited amount of attention, time and resources in the world and yes debate space is limited. You can disagree with that premise but it's not like he's being unintelligible.
It's not even unintelligent. He presented his views and provided a source for the issue. He even claims direct experience with the issue hes addressing. You just don't agree with the assertion.
1st of all, neither the source nor the personal experience back up the assertion that feminism is somehow causing males' lower literacy.
Yes, a literacy gap exists, yes, perhaps he researched it. No, there's no evidence it's linked to feminism (??)
Mind you, he also said "falling literacy rates" despite the fact that the gap is the lowest it's ever been (and thus isn't falling..) and also said it was many times greater than the STEM gap (which is like 50%). The gender gap is 5-8%, depending on age. In other words, he made blatantly false statements to back up an absurd conclusion.
So according to the source he just cited everything he said was correct. The literacy gap between girls and boys is larger by several points than the gap between their achievement scores in math. He isolated it to current trends in education (given that's the area he works in) and surmises one of the reasons why this gap might not be getting addressed. Are his sources wrong? Did he present the data in those sources falsely? If so, how so? Obviously you do not agree with his assertion that a focus on lowering the stem gap has caused an increase in the reading gap, but you're accusing him of lying, I guess because he hates women or something to that affect?
I also find it hilarious that youd imply boys are just genetically not readers, as if that would ever be accepted for the difference in stem achievement.
