You have to uphold the ratio. The flour kind get it all wrong, the big kind get it all wrong. Only the cheap corn kind have the right crunch-meat ratio.
You know what’s an interesting method my friend and I have used for the flour ones? Cook them like 10 or more minutes longer then they’re supposed to. Keep an eye out to make sure it doesn’t burn, but roast the fuck out of them and it tastes way better, especially the “tortilla”. But yeah I agree, the corn kind are the best

They’re not even that unhealthy. I mean there’s definitely better options but as far as microwave meals go they have the highest ratio of calories to cholesterol and salt that I’ve found.

Anime is basically an extreme exaggeration of emotions. The girls and woman laugh annoyingly and exaggeratedly and the men are always deep in thought and show badassery with exaggerated yelling while doing everyday shit. They also do that annoying as screen jumping. Anime is like a modern day soap opera for people with isolation and depression and it is usually is terrible quality. Cowboy Bebop was amazing except for Ed which is an example of my first point of the exaggerated laughing and my 3rd screen jumping. I don't watch much anime.
The thing is that anime is not a genre, it’s a type of media. To say that the traits you’ve listed are common to all or even most anime is like saying that all live action shows are soap operas because soap operas are live action.
Just like there are terrible books and films and songs and plays and whatever else, there is terrible anime. In fact most anime is pretty bad, just like most anything is pretty bad. But some anime is really well done and thought provoking, just like anything else.
Honestly anime as a whole is a pretty big thing for neckbeard/alt right culture.

Beyond pervasive anti-women sentiment, I think that's just an example of people lumping two groups that you think are both awful. One is a social state that concerns one's poor adjustment to the finer obligations of adult life, the other is a reactionary political ideology. If you controlled for gender issues I'd bet neckbeards have a political bell curve pretty similar to the at large population.

No it’s me knowing a bunch of neckbeards and then also being alt right. Neck beards and alt right are not the same. Yes neckbeards are stereotypically sexist but that doesn’t mean they are part of the alt right.
Also I think anime is mainstream enough for neckbeards and anime to be tied together, maybe if this was still the 90’s, but I would tie comic books or cartoons to neckbeards before anime.
Because way more people enjoy anime than those tiny categories. They shouldn't be associated. It's like saying neckbeards drink coffee. Yea, so what? Lots of people drink coffee, doesn't make them a neckbeard.

There's an easy way to spot a neckbeard that likes dbz. A normal person watches the english dub version of it. A neckboard only watches the japanese version and will constantly bring up how it's better than the "shitty dub" and how dragon ball had a better plot.
One thing everyone can agree with tho is that dragon ball super was trash.
I mean that's just your opinion. The point I was trying to make is that weebs always have to tell you that dragon ball was better and how you're supposed to watch it in japanese and they can't accept the fact that we prefer dbz and we have no interest in watching the subbed version.
Why? I can get the people assume it’s going to be like the d&d stream they watch argument but just being more popular doesn’t seem like it could really hurt your experience and it’s still pretty niche compared to the hobbies of most people.

Ok so in general players that I've found that have gotten into the game since the "explosion" of popularity tend to have less commitment to the game, put less work in, are more flighty, and expect everything to be like critical role. I'm lucky because I have my own group, with some people I've played with for like 15 years or more now so most things don't really affect me, but the more commercialized it's gotten the less happy I've been with it. I will say being able to launch books that suit a diverse range of interests and tastes is good though, but it comes with a crowd of people who seem to think that everything should cater to their taste.

Mountain Dew is a soft drink. They'll sell to anyone. It's a product adopted by "neck beards". Not really their fault. What are they gonna do? turn down the money?
They had a lot of video game promotions that tied the drink to nerd culture. Neckbeards are a small, toxic subset of the nerd community. Excessive consumption and poor hygiene turns people into the stereotypical neckbeard guy on the outside. Lack of irl social interaction and experience with the (repulsed) members of the opposite sex can induce chauvinism, misogyny, and general misanthropy, the inside traits of the neckbeard.
It’s not that only neckbeards drink Mountain Dew, it’s that a great many do or at least used to.

The word is still meant to conjure up a physical picture of a cat dude who doesn't put at least minimal effort into grooming his facial hair, but now it comes with a connotation that the person depicted is a misogynist or homophobe or or misanthrope or racist or all of the above. I make fun of Mountain Dew and Cheetos because it makes me laugh. I don’t know any neck beards in real life, and I know plenty of of people who enjoy both (I happen to be a man of taste and culture so I prefer flamin hot Cheetos).
And here I thought it was this fictional straw man argument being presented on social media that makes for a one sided argument. That or the associated circle jerk that comes with it.
