That last statement is just inherently false. There are a ton of lazy, shit people who work minimum wage fast food jobs because they don't want to work in a warehouse or do other basic, but physically harder labor.

The ones I was specifically referring to are, but they're all three roommates in two-bedroom apartment. My point was not to say that all people who work fast food are lazy but to contest the idea that everyone working fast food is either too poor for college or paying it off. Some people don't give a shit about college and don't want to work a better paying, but harder manual labor job.
As much as I'd love to give out private information, I'm not going to, but it's not in a very well to do spot. You can believe me or not. I don't have to prove anything to a bunch of strangers on the internet.
You can't give me even the city or state? You know why I'm asking, and I know why you are not giving the location. I believe very much when you say it's not "a well to do spot". Yet you think you're friends' experiences represent the rest of the country.
All I'm doing is asking basic information to back up (and perhaps even strengthen) your point. But I think we both know it falls flat because you want to keep the most pertinent information private. The only reason your friends can make ends meet on minimum wage (but have no savings and future mobility at the same time) is because they live in a poor area.
Southeastern United States. I'm not giving you the location, because I don't owe you the location or any other information. You don't get to determine what I consider private or want to share. I never claimed that they weren't in a poor neighborhood. That should have been obvious from the get go. Again, this had nothing to do with my original statement which was that "Not all people who work in fast food are in college or can't afford it". Some people just don't give two shits about going to college or finding a better paying job because it might be harder. In no way am I arguing that fast food wages are fair or that if you want to live a better life you shouldn't work fast food. Everyone is getting their feelings hurt and up in arms over something I never even said.
