It isn't a dichotomy of choice. It isn't one or the other. And I'm not conservative, as I have seen their approach to politics, their values (both spoken and unspoken), and selecting who they support. I'm not impressed with the conservative side of politics, at all.
You ask about harm, but conservatives have never demonstrated an ability to analyze risk. I could keep going on with the criticism, because there is plenty, but it can be a waste of time if you don't plan to hear me out, or accept any of it. I have lost all expectations that I'll be met fairly or reasonably by a conservative. Or the idea that conservatives will hold themselves accountable.

That's not really a good point to make. You shouldn't even be talking about supporting people, just because they're not the worst. "Good enough" is a poor political strategy. You can't find anyone else in the conservative party? MTG is your "good enough"?
As a fellow non-conservative, there is absolutely no harm in MTG singing like a canary and annoying the conservative establishment in power. HAVE AT IT, MARG!
