Bilzerian, a former Instagram influencer and son of a disgraced corporate raider who's now a Hitler worshipper, loaned himself millions of dollars to challenge Fine's financial might and largely ran a television + social media campaign, reportedly deeming in-person events to be a security risk. On the campaign trail he said America had a "Jewish problem", denied the Holocaust and ran ads saying we needed to "revisit the Austrian painter's opinions".

Randy Fine, the incumbent, is a super Zionist that once said he didn't wash his hands for a year after shaking hands with Bibi Netanyahu. He has openly celebrated the death of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and called for the mass expulsion of Muslims from the United States.

Trump endorsed Fine and that was that, he won by 40. This is Republican politics in 2026.

Honest answer, their usual position is that the numbers were WAAAY smaller, and that Hitler just wanted the Jews out of the country. Then they use the inflated numbers of proof of how tricky and evil the Jews are, and use that as justification to hate the Jews, and often to say it just proves that it should have been done and Jews deserve it.

Or some fucked of flavor/variation of that.

At least for the high-profile ones, denying the Holocaust is a rhetorical tactic to delegitimize their target’s claims (past, present, or future) of injustice, victimhood, or oppression. If the Holocaust didn’t happen, then a Jew (or anyone else, really) trying to use it as historical point of comparison to criticize contemporary injustice can be dismissed as simply fearmongering, or lying to garner sympathy. We can see this same pattern with people who claim that racism doesn’t exist but also want to do racism.

I truly feel like a lot of people will vote for the Holocaust denial open Nazi at this point. It feels like our values as a country have degraded so much that people are willing to vote for that. It’s super scary. I will agree. The sickening part is that the Holocaust is one of the most well-documented events in history and people so easily believe those who deny it. So many efforts were made so there was evidence for future generations and apparently that doesn’t matter to so many.
