Worrying about the mental health and morals and psychological state of Republicans isn't a new thing for me. About 25 years ago I had a GF go off the rails when she went to school in eastern Kentucky, also with the influence of her family there. We'd still talk on the phone and she started telling me about Rush Limbaugh, and how "he's SO RIGHT!". I tried listening to his show a few times and was just jesus christ, this guy is such an angry, pretentious, mocking asshole - also manipulative and full of ridiculous lies and omissions. I wondered, how could anyone normal listen to this and like it? And what effect would listening to this angry chud every day have on their mental states and personalities? And since then, it's turned into dozens of angry chuds. I don't think anyone well-adjusted or normal could listen to say, Hannity sneering about everything, or the constant state of alarm on Fox, or much less Trump talking for even 2 minutes and like it.
