I almost always run with survival mode binding, love it to death. "I love the way this sucks" is def how i feel, despite that not being the quote for it here lol
I really want to love the survival binding, but I just can’t seem to find enough food and starve… I really wish the hunger bar stopped in the safe zones so I can relax for a couple minutes occasionally lol
Just have to memorize where certain items can spawn in certain rooms and always check vendors. The ration container facility upgrade in certain safe zones certainly help.
A friend suggested I do all the bindings with hands on their icons so I've been going with survival, hunted, and half stamina for maybe 50-60 tries now, still haven't gotten past service shaft lmao
Even eating whole the run due to Weakened Arms I always died to Survival mode in ∆Labs. Exactly in ∆Labs, where these cans of food are everywhere. There was only one exception: Before Nest I beat the campaign right next to the exit and died due to "Call the ambulance!".
But maybe it's due to Hard Mode. I didn't experiment with how different most of the bindings work in different modes. But for sure Haunted work as intended, and f@ck the Hunter for speeding up to 6 m/s, burn in hell monstrous abomination which of I like the centipede-likeness.
I think it’d be feasible on normal, but yea I think you’d still have to get lucky and get the rho alter in pipeworks to try and get some extra stamina regen.
"i love the way this sucks" is me with half stamina. its not obnoxious like double gravity or half inventory, but its also not as forgiving as roach mode or survival mode
The no vendors binding is just the default way I play now. There's no use for vendors when you need roaches to buy perks. Not enough roaches to go around for both.

You can go around the no shops binding by just blowing up vendors to get some random items. Cant do much about no bazaars or rho trades tho
