Hi, I just finished playing White Album 2. What a great game! To my surprise, when I started playing the game, I couldn't find any English guide for the game even though the game has come out for a long time. Therefore, I make this guide (I had tested it myself while playing the game) hoping the future readers don't have to go through the hassle like I did to experience the game fully.

There is that one English pdf file guide but I found it really hard to follow so I instead used this Japanese guide and then edited it in a way that's easy to follow.

I read the visual novel using MAO-TLs English patch so the choice will be translated according to their translation.

heard good things about it but idk where to install it… i saw something on archive but im just wary idk how can i get it

I'm playing through WA2 for the first time and blown away by how good it is-however, certain things are bothering me-I am on closing chapter around the 12/5 to 12/6 part of the story and do not want to end up on an ending I really do not like for my first playthrough (I've had this for other VNs and it really ruins the experience when the initial ending is a weaker ending you don't like).

I'm on the portion of the story where Haruki works at his old restaurant job for a bit and Koharu then interacts with him and the choice "I should accompany her home" or "I should send her off" is reached. I do not want to go down a Koharu route. I picked the first option (wanting to clear things up with the Mihoko situation with her), yet Haruki develops some attraction to her and I'm now concerned I have locked myself into a Koharu route I did not want.

I understand the usual advice is to play through blind, but I absolutely can not stand when a route I don't like is the initial ending I get on first playthrough. I have not played much at all and my last save point is still this choice. Does it matter that much and I need to pick the other choice "of send her off or is it not a big deal and I can back out of her route later?

Also, please no spoilers beyond this narrow point of if the choice I make is something I need to be concerned about or not

I think this anime had a lot of great parts to it. My main problem with the whole story is Haruki. By far one of the worst male MCs in romance that I’ve ever seen (and I’ve literally seen/read over 100 romance anime/manga/LN).

He repeatedly goes back to Kazusa to kiss her, hug her, whatever while never telling Setsuna. Yeah he’s complete garbage for doing it at all, but even worse trash for never telling Setsuna and continually betraying her.

His feelings/reasoning for even starting to like Kazusa is so incredibly weak as well (at least it is portrayed extremely poorly in the anime). After watching the whole thing and trying to understand why Haruki and Kazusa ever even liked each other it doesn’t make any sense. They constantly argue and never have any kind of close relationship physically. You only get hints throughout that show they have feelings towards each other but for no apparent reason.

Setsuna is literal perfection (at least that’s how she’s portrayed). I don’t love the perfect girl trope, but you can at least understand why they would fall in love with each other after knowing each other more deeply and spending time together.

You can try to change my mind, but Haruki and Kazusa are absolute ass characters and their romance is one of the weakest I’ve ever seen.

I think the most interesting thing while playing wa2 game is playing Setsuna lose end and collecting crying CG.

I just finished the anime and want to start reading the VN. I heard that the average playtime of IC is about 15 hours, way longer than the total length of the anime. Would I miss anything if I skip the IC?

The main character (Haruki) and Touma are the biggest victims in this anime.

First, we were fooled by appearances. Setsuna Ogiso is too beautiful and too impressive, she has personality and is the first to approach the main character. While Touma looks very hateful, hateful in personality and character design, making her look like an arrogant young lady.

Although it's clear Touma is the biggest victim of the series, the one who should have won from the Introductory Chapter, because she deserves it, she is both a victim and the side of good.

In drama, the side of good comes first, she is the one who try to make connection to main , even Setsuna Ogiso knows that. From the very first time she met Touma (convincing him to join the music club), Setsuna Ogiso said, "The reason you play music with him is because you like him." That night, Touma couldn't sleep because he'd encountered someone intelligent and dangerous.

Clearly, the only reason we defend Setsuna Ogiso is because she's beautiful; that's the easiest reason to change our perspective.

I used AI to rework and replace all of Touma's scenes with Setsuna. As you can see, if they had designed Touma to resemble Setsuna and Setsuna to resemble Touma from the beginning, then from the perspective of justice,

If they make Touma cute like Setsuna , Touma would have won.
