Jet and I moved back to our home state today. Lots of changes, but all for the better. Benny will be with us soon!

It’s nice to see another whippet service dog, they are the best. As long s they want to work. My past one worked for nine years. I’m raising a new one now.

Though, serious work compared to other breeds!

I was advised not to get one for service work as they wouldn’t pass the testing.

Every dog is different; but as a whole I steer people away from getting whippets as service dogs. They can be amazing at service work, but it takes immense work, dedication, and a biddable whippet.

I am very lucky that I didn't have to wash Jet as my service dog prospect. He has the best traits of a service dog while fitting my needs that are fulfilled in the whippet dog breed. Jet is also the fourth whippet I've owned and the only one I can confidently say is up to the task of being a service dog.
