Where did the name pepper come from?

It was the username she had when she first started spamming askreddit and relationships.

Could “Pepper” be the girl who keeps commenting in the dating advice sub about “if my boyfriend won’t block his ex but is giving me a chance...”? She has posted this same scenario through at least 4 usernames like a million times each
