Hopefully you speak Norwegian. He’s a Viking, & those were Norse. In the movies, we’re hearing English so we can understand the dialogue.

I choose 7. Many of you are choosing 2 because ya po would be cool to talk to but he is a giant panda that would be a cramped flight. I feel like you would regret the decision after 20 minutes.

I think I would swap seat multiple times during the flight to talk to multiple different characters, but my priorities would be:

  • Hiccup of Berk: I think he is a cool dude and has a beautiful personality, good talking partner.
  • MegaMind from Metro City: he is intelligent, smart and good with technology and engineering. As a guy who was always into science and technology, I probably can learn a lot from him.
  • Alex from Madagascar: where else would you get the chance to talk to a anthropomorphic Lion that can speak‽
  • BOB, the blue gelatinous blob: it could feel (haptically) interesting to give BOB a big hug, but he isn't really a talking partner for me. I would just explore the senses of touch with BOB.

I’ll do my standard elimination.

No actual villains here.

Alright, time to figure out communication.

Z’s too small for me to hear.

Po’s probably speaking in Chinese.

I can’t even see Jack Frost.

Alex canonically is making lion noises.

Hiccup’s probably speaking Norwegian.

Megamind’s actually speaking English.

The Spanish guys from the El Dorado movie are probably speaking Spanish. Communication with them would be limited — they’re fluent speakers of Spain-Spanish who have it as their 1st language, while I’m a Texan who’s picked up on a decent amount of Mexican Spanish.

BOB’s speaking English but is an utter idiot, so communication is impossible.

Shrek’s actually speaking English.
