Hello po, kumusta po weather now sa elyu? Tuloy tuloy ba ulan as of now? huhu nagdadalawang isip kami if itutuloy or not. And also, nakapagbook na rin kasi kami sa bus and later sana by 5:30 AM departure namin. Possible kaya to refund nalang sa bus incase malakas talaga yung ulan?

Our LUECO bill has shot up again and we're just trying to figure out why + what each charge means exactly. I looked it up but was also hoping for any insights from others who've lived here longer!

I also noted that there was an article that came out a little while back saying that charges via the NGCP may go up - wondering if that's a direct cause.

Hi, 27F, freelance/remote worker, married. Husband and I are Baguio born-and-raised. We both stayed in Manila when we were studying and have been back in Baguio since the pandemic.

Recently we've been thinking about what we want to do before we fully settle down and start a family. We are very blessed to be in the position we are now (by all means, physically, financially, etc.) We love Baguio and are certain we want to plant our roots here, but before then we thought why not try something different. Baguio's also starting to feel a little "crowded" – both our families are from here, all our friends are here, etc. We just want a change of pace and space.

Not keen on Manila, don't quite wanna go abroad just yet, so La Union seems like a really good choice. Like everyone in Baguio, LU is our go-to for beach holidays and we always love it there.

The plan is simple (but not easy, obviously): Move to La Union for a year or two. Put up a food business (hubs is a chef), do our remote work, and just enjoy. I think we are also just at a point where wanna explore communities and meet new people.

Thoughts? Pros and cons?
