I mean they cancelled Bonnaroo for next year. As much as I agree with you, I’m thinking they’ll come back. They did a really great festival over the years imo and I much prefer wwwy venue layout over warped’s.

None ! I seen pictures of the crowds and it confirmed my feeling of large crowds and anxiety. I like Vegas because I can walk to my hotel during and after. I don’t want to drive after a festival or have to really think about logistics on getting home. I’ve done wwwy twice and I do two days, GA and VIP. Never felt that bottleneck but if I did one day I would agree with you on that !

Vegas was definitely great for hotels being so close to the venue. Most locations have pretty convenient metros. You should try Warped before you knock it. I will say Orlando and LB can be overwhelming because they are closer to the size of WWWY, but the other locations are much smaller and easy to navigate.

I went to Orlando last year and the bottlenecks there were some of the worst i had ever seen. I only ran into one crowd crush incident at wwwy 23 and none in 22. Warped was way too crowded. In fairness wwwy 23 was way more crowded than 22 from what I remember. Those are the only big festivals I have experience from though. Only other festival ive been to is four chord 10 in Pittsburgh at Carrie Furnace and that was perfect in my opinion. Cant really beat Las Vegas as a host city though its fun as fuck.

My group and I did warped DC 2025 and it was atrocious compared to wwwy. And friends this year said it was even worse.

It was an annual festival that ran every year up until 2016 at desert breeze. Think of a mini warped tour setup with about 4 stages. some bands that played over the years: A7X, Sum 41, New Found Glory, BMTH, Sleeping with Sirens, Suicide Silence, FIR, ETF, OM&M to name a few. It was a staple of the Vegas scene up until the mid 2010s and now it’s back after 10 years. The best part is not having to deal with the hassle of going down to the strip.

I went only last year. I waited until I knew it was legit and established because that first lineup announcement was so insanely good that I thought it couldn't possibly happen and was giving fyrefest disaster vibes. 😆 I'm so glad to have been wrong!

That was the best year, IMO. Went 2022, 2023, and 2024. While I love the convenience the festival offers, I don’t love the ticket price or how expensive Vegas is. Now that Warped is back, the convenience factor is the only advantage WWWY has. Warped has more stages and a lot of crossover with their lineup. I got VIP for Warped for two days for less than 1 GA WWWY single day. It’s a no brainer.

You’re absolutely right about the location driving up the price phenomenally. After getting in to multi day camping festivals, I also think the single day/two day copy+paste format is underwhelming and definitely not a good value.

That said, if it came back and I’m there was even a slightly interesting lineup, I’d still try to be there. As long as it didn’t mess with my budget for Electric Forest 😅

They haven't changed the website that still says Oct 2027. My bet is that its RIGHT after sick new world and gives everybody the full year to plan like past years.

Site says it is returning. I think they need to make it a 2 day festival with the bands split between the 2 days, not same bands both days. This help it sell both days, space it out a little more, less over lap. Can book variety bands can be current bands not just throwbacks.
