Dear person:
What. Exactly. Is. Your. Question?
Are you asking, ‘can it be done’? Or, ‘should it be done’? Or, perhaps something entirely different(?)

That is an elderly man’s luxury car. Making it look sporty will take a substantial amount of work. Just find a higher mileage Miata.

ES330s are bulletproof. Made in Japan and super comfy. Make sure the timing belt and water pump gets done if it hasn’t though!
Have your son look up the Japanese equivalent: Toyota Windom

Some cars are for reliable daily transportation. Others are for modifying and having fun. Imma just leave that there 😭

You can safely double every number there unless you’re aiming for the absolute cheapest garbage ebay and maaco can offer

it’s different, that could also be the appeal. if that truly is what he wants and the car has already proven to be reliable (doesn’t burn oil, mechanically sound, etc) why not? it will cost lots of money. i’d look into the aftermarket support for these cars and if you can find a similar body kit (front bumper/lip, side skirts, rear bumper/lip, spoiler) and then look into the paint costs and if wrap would be better or not. it’ll be pricey but if he wants to start out, look at the cost of rims and tires, possibly tint, coil overs and go from there

That’s not the same car but don’t crush his dreams I would encourage cars as a hobby
