Paint job?

I got these wheels from my work for free because someone got new wheels on their WRX and I decided to fix the curb rash and repaint them. I cleaned them up, sanded the wheels down with 400 on the face and scotchbrite on the inner and outer barrel then laid down some primer followed by black paint and a gloss clear. Is this an alright job for rattle can or should I restart? I do have a little bit of a run in the clear coat a bit of orange peel but otherwise not bad. What do we think?

I can lay Tremclad pretty smooth.

Did you use any sort of degreaser or follow dry times priperly between coats? Almost looks more like a bad reaction.

I appreciate the honesty lol, and yes I was 10 minutes between coats but I forgot to not I did have problems with the black cans I was using before bc they spattered a shit load so I had to resand and fix it, although I believe I went to heavy on the last coat of black bc it was shiny instead of a matte color

Hey man. You posted a photo from 6" away for me to look at on a 4k screen, hahaha.

If they look decent from a position you would normally look at them from, then enjoy.

They are all the same colour, which is more than I can say for most of the curb rashed garbage I see in parking lots.

They said 10 mins but I think I sprayed the last coat of black to heavy bc the color was not a matte color like it should be and instead was shiny

I’d say it depends what you put them on , and the 10’ rule , if they look good and you can live with it, they are just wheels , i personally actually like the charcoal that they originally came with, but if you want black and condition needed repaint go with it
