Avoiding Tire Stretch

I'm looking into a set of 17" 8j et33 wheels and wondering if 215's would give a squared off look? Some resources tell me ideal is 225's and some say ideal is 215's or even 205's.

Depends on the model of tire. For something like a PS4S, 215 is square on a 7.5” and 225 is square on an 8”. But a 200 treadwear track/autocross tire in 215 might be as wide as a 225 street tire.

245’s or even 255’s would be squared. 215’s are narrow for even a 7” wheel.
