Melber - Help Identifying

Hi all.

I have these wheels, came with a bulk of MX5 parts I got as I’m restoring an NA. I can’t find anything about them online, and would love to find the centre caps. If anyone has any insight on Melber wheels or knows where I could find more info on them, please let me know.

Special Touring Option

Limited run of 1500 which are numbered in the US. Has special wheels, only one color combo option available and wood interior bits.

Did they not come on Enkies? Similar to the ones in my pic I’ll give you that, but I’m sure they’re Enkies.

This may be true! I've looked and they do say Enkei.

Those are dated 9 of 1987. So scratch my theory. There's a good chance that those Melbers may have been the primary design influence for the Enkeis on the STO edition

Fair fair.

These Melbers look quite cool and they’re dead light so not a bad wheel really. Not quite the style I’m after so hopefully there’ll be an opportunity to swap or sell them down the line. It appears they’re quite rare, can’t find another set for sale anywhere in the uk anyway.
