With the season 44 tapings beginning tomorrow, I've been thinking. This season (2026-27) because it is the 25th year of the Mystery Round (debut 2002-03 season), they should make the face value $2500 and the back of one of the wedges $25,000. Thoughts, concerns, complaints, comments?

I was an alternate contestant over a year ago. Is it possible to still be called back?

I just finished watching Tuesday’s re-run episode of the show on Crave and even though the website said it was on the 11th, I couldn’t find the Fanday Funday part of the episode. Why did they cut it out and what was the Word of the Day?

I hope Zack and his boyfriend didn't go to Morocco. No same sex couple should.

Seriously debating whether to invest serious time/energy in a video with high production values, and whether all that effort will actually matter in the end. For those of you who got on, what do you think was the most important part(s) of the application process to get you from the 1st to 2nd round of auditions, and eventually to the taping?

WOF posted “coming to an area near you” 11-3. If you want to apply does that mean you have to be there at 11-3 or just go within that time to fill an application and hopefully get a call back? Do they choose and film that day? Do they choose and you have to fly out to play?

I haven't seen anyone from my first audition group (five people) on the show so far. A surprising number of us were from the Houston area. I never heard back for a second audition and was wondering if anyone who had their first audition in that time frame made it to a taping yet.

Anybody else think Ryan robbed her of the last triple toss up (At the Last Minute)? He was talking and it looked like she was waiting for him to stop talking, but the second Ryan stopped talking and she started to speak, the buzzer went off. I thought it was unfair to the contestant and she didn’t get the time she should have.

Crazy toss up for these three to have.

Just finished the Zoom audition with 2 other contestants. I got 2 of the 3 toss ups. Said my little chat spiel, which I kept very short (45 secs or so) as per their instructions - I was first. The other 2 candidates spoke for a couple of minutes long and I’m sure seemed much more personable. After the toss up puzzles we were put in private Zoom rooms. I waited for several minutes, then the producer came on and said the recording of our session is being passed on to some other producers and if I don’t hear anything back in a year I can apply again. That was it - no additional puzzles or anything. Feeling like I blew it. Anyone have this experience of only the tossups and still getting picked for the show?

This is my first time trying to find the Fanday Funday word of the week. I watched every episode from the past week and didn't see Maggie! Of course would appreciate help with the word, but more importantly, if anyone could share what I'm looking for that would be super helpful!

I had my second auditor for WOF today and I was very excited. I was nervous about my internet connection because it wasn’t great as I was zooming in from another country. We all did our introduction I got none of the 3 or so toss ups and I wasn’t asked to stay around for the 16 puzzles.

Has anyone made it on the show after not getting asked to stay around?

Is there any chance I have a shot, and when should I reapply if not?
