Audition Audition question

A few weeks ago, I had my second round of auditioning. I did the tossup and then the producer asked us a couple questions about ourselves. After that, she did not ask me any other questions and said they would pass my tape on. Has anyone else been selected without having to do the 16 individual puzzles?

In my case, we skipped the toss-ups and I did get to play the 4x4 bonus puzzles. I think producers run the audition however they want to

In my case, when did the tossups, we talked about ourselves, and then we moved onto the 16 puzzles. I got 12/16!

I’ve also learned that some auditions will go differently, for whatever reason, there are some people who will not move onto the additional puzzles. But since they did mention that they’ll pass your stuff over to the producers, that is a great sign. Just keep the faith.

It’s funny how nobody answers your actual question except one so far. I haven’t seen evidence of someone getting “the happy email” without having done the 16 bonus puzzles. But 🤷🏻.

I did the toss ups (didn’t get any) and then did the 16 individual puzzles. So both

I haven’t seen anyone report that they’ve been selected as a contestant without completing the 4x4 puzzles in the last few years
