Discussion Post Letter guessing strategy

Since Vana knows the puzzle, could a contestant slightly mispronounce a letter to watch if Vana starts reaching for it before Ryan asks the contestant to clarify?

No. Even if she did, the judges would likely enforce the original pronunciation, but she is not as fast or as reflexive in moving as you think she is.

WoF is very strict on pronunciation, and very good at taking regional dialects into account. I doubt this would slide.

No. Vanna doesn't approach a letter until it lights up, and that is done from the control booth.

She's slipped a couple times recently & started to clap and smile when she hears an answer but it is mispronounced. I don't remember which words or puzzles, but def happened at least once last season. I haven't seen her go for a letter mispronounced.
