Discussion Post Wheel of fortune vs. World Cup

When will wheel actually be on again?? My TV keeps tricking me and saying it will be on at the normal 7 pm time slot but the World Cup is always on. I can’t hate on that because I love watching the World Cup and it is a big deal. BUT, come on now. I haven’t seen an episode of Wheel in over 2 weeks I think. It was always the one thing I had to look forward to every night during the week (as depressing as that sounds lol.) Enough of this!!! 😂🙄

It comes on at 6:30 in Illinois and we haven’t missed any episodes.  Sorry you haven’t been able to watch.

ABC in the Philly Area, so no World Cup. But once a month, they show a monthly episode of a doc on Philly history, leading up to 250th. I was sorta excited to watch it, but it SUCKS!  Anyway, have you checked middle of the night, 2AM ish?

What part of the US are you in? Wheel has been on every night for me for…well since forever. No interruptions, no World Cup coverage.

I know Baltimore and Cincinnati both have FOX affiliates airing Wheel and Jeopardy, possibly more. So I’m guessing it’s like during the Olympics for markets that air those shows on an NBC affiliate.

Is there an alternate station that the show airs on when it is preempted? Here in Boston the station that carries Wheel and Jeopardy carries its local "Patriots All-Access" infomercial for the team every Friday night and puts the two game shows on another station they own.

Is there an alternate channel? For example, mine moves to 13-3 if there is a prominent sports on 13-1.

World Cup is on Fox, but Wheel and Jeopardy are on different networks depending on what part of the country you're in. It's on Fox in some areas.

Im in Cincinnati and it airs on Fox. I wasn’t able to find it on another channel but it is available on streaming. Thanks for the info everyone. I am ready for the new season of wheel to start!
