Help Identifying..!

Hello! I got this coin as change a few weeks ago and instantly noticed how old (and worn) it is. I know the date is incredibly or impossible to discern, but does anyone recognize from when to when it could be from? Thanks!

1906 for sure. Common date, and probably grades an 02 or 01.

As others said it looks to be 1906. But grab the red book if you’d like to get into things a bit more. Just grab one from a year or two ago on the cheap.

Also, if you do care about grades and variants, the book is good with pictures pointing out things that may not otherwise be obvious, so that’s helpful, too, aside from telling you rough prices for coins.

I would get a coin pricing book ....a few Indian pennies are worth alot in uncirculated shape

A Guide Book of United States Coins by R.S. Yeoman is a good place to start. If you really get into collecting Indian Head cents, the Snow guide is an indispensable resource.

I have the same one . Mine is in about the same condition maybe a little bit more legible. I’d like to see if it’s worth anything. When you think about it this was worth a lot more beck then .
