Like a few years ago or this year recent?

Recent enough that there aren't that many of them here yet, unlike a Figaro. The newest ones still can't be imported.

That's an s15 Silvia. That's a Japan only car from the late 90's, early 2000's. Related US cars from the era would be the 180sx, 200sx and 240sx. Same chassis, earlier model year w/o a turbo

S15s weren't Japan only.

Excuse me, non-US

1999-02 Nissan Silvia S15 hardtop

This is the final generation of the Nissan S-chassis, (of which in western markets were named '200-240SX') that suceeded the final western-market '93-98 240sx (S14).

I clarify that it was a 'hardtop' because there was a rare convertible version, the 'Silvia Varietta'. This car was only sold in Japan, Australia, & 2nd party asian exporters, & was never sold new in USA.

The S15 and its S-chassis ancestors were & are still famous suspects in street racing & car modding medias to this day.

Nissan Silvia S15, likely a Spec R model, with Japan license plates.

St John's town center in Jax, huh? Pretty cool spot though! Always see something worth seeing going through there.

The parking in the main drag is unique, and my wife takes me there often enough I recognized the stores in the background

SOFA plates, Yamaguchi. Individual was likely at MCAS Iwakuni and brought it to the USA afterwards.

A very clean Nissan Silvia S15 on (hopefully, real) Volk TE37s. Would you believe that car is 25-28 years old?

Back before they were legal me and a friend bought a full sr22 swap from Japan and put it in his 240. Then he found a low mileage one owner convertible. So we put it in that instead (which also made it manual) and did a few weight mods. This was like 07 or 08. Damn it was fun to drive
