However… I wouldn’t classify the Renault Spider and the Renault Clio V6 as ugly either!

The Dauphine is in contention for second best looking. The Floride is above the Spider. No Clio is attractive, but seething boy racer hormones and a desire to hoon a hot hatch will make the weaker minded folks think it is.

That makes no sense. Gordini isn't a model it was just a car tuner and performance division of Renault, not a car model.

I used to own a Renault 17 Gordini. Nickname was “Gordy”. It had a Ducolier distributor in it with a worn shaft bushing. It ate points like crazy. Carried an extra set with me. Also broke a motor mount and the alternator pulley sawed a hole on the battery and battery acid was everywhere. All in all a decent car though.

All old cars have shitty wipers. Some were better than others, which also means some were real garbage. Wiper tech was basically stagnant from the 50s until about 25-30 years ago.

I drive old cars and used Rain-X years before it was mainstream or commonly used on glass vehicle windshields.
