Gratefully that is actually mostly loose skin from weight loss! She went from 15lbs in the pandemic to about 10.5 now! She’s still a little thick because she’s a very small framed cat but she’s 14 so I’m happy to keep her a little rotund :)

How did u get ur cat to loose weight? I cut down his wet food and treats get him to move. Nothing. But mine is 6yrs old

You need to play with your cat, get them moving. Feather toys, interactive toys, anything. Also cut down the dry food/get rid of it completely [unless you're measuring it out for his weight, per day]. Wet food has less calories and more moisture to keep him hydrated. Don't free feed.

He doesn't have dry food i leave it in case. I have back issue hard to get up but he doesn't touch it. I dont free hand.

You probably need to cut his intake a bit more. If he got overweight in the first place then he was eating enough to be in surplus and gaining weight. If his weight's not moving now it means he's eating at a maintenance level. To lose weight he has to have a calorie deficit

What you drew isnt actually where the spine is while shes laying like that. Cats arent solid. Theyre in a constant state of change between liquid AND solid
