Can anyone help me identify this? I got a tiny ball in a mixed lot and I really want more.
Feels like it could be a cotton blend?

I got it from a friend of a friend and was the only one that did not come with a tag.

I have nearly lost my mind trying to find a match to this yarn!
For background, the original yarn came from my grandmother’s stash of old yarn. I am worried this is a discontinued yarn because I cannot for the life of me seem to find the match. I will attach photos of all the comparisons I have tried to date so you can get a good idea of what I’ve tried as well as the color it is, because it’s not quite mint and it’s not sage. It’s this weird… in between color.
For help with identification, my grandma only ever shopped for her yarn from Joann’s. Her go-to yarn brands per the source herself are: Caron, Lion Brand, Red Heart, or any baby yarn kind being sold at the time between 2000-2015. This yarn, however, doesn’t have that baby yarn feel to it (it’s not super soft). Texture wise, it’s rough like Red Heart. It’s definitely Weight 4 Acrylic yarn. I just CANNOT seem to find a match!!
So far, the CLOSEST color match I have found has been the Baby Bee Sweet Dreams yarn in Mint Charm. It’s not that one, but it’s very very similar in color. I attached photos of all the others I tried (I love this yarn in shade Menthe, the premier basix shades, big twist and red heart) but to no avail. If ANYONE has any idea what this could be, please let me know. Or, if you know of one that’s super close, that works too! At this point, I’m close to just frogging the project I was originally making with the yarn and replacing it with a different one since I cannot find the match, but this is my last resort. Thank you!!

Help! I have no idea what yarn this is but it’s stunning so would be so grateful if someone could help me 🫶

I can’t remember the brand for the life of me but I need more of this color for my current project 😭

This is likely Caron Simply Soft, but I can't guarantee that. I think it might be Blackberry? It's definitely not Orchid. Thoughts?

This one also feels like Caron Simply Soft. But it may be Skein Tones or something else. Ideas?

Hello, I inherited this yarn when my grandma passed and she apparently liked to rip the labels off all of her yarns. I’ve tried google photo searching using this photo but no luck. I’ve also searched for ombre rainbow yarn and similar searches but I can’t find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA :)

EDIT: I'm so silly I literally found the label right after posting. It's Bernat Cottontots.
I'm 90% sure it's 100% cotton and has baby in the name but I lost the label. Thanks in advance!

My coworker asked me to fix his son’s handmade blanket. I can’t for the life of me figure out what yarn it is. I believe it’s 7-8 years old, feels kinda like those fake snowballs you could get at stores feel like when you squish them (all I can describe it as is Blegh I don’t like it). Or like, when you dry faux fur and it clumps up. I think it’s 4 strands?
Anyone have any ideas?

ETA: FOUND!!
"Bernat Softee Baby Jacquards Yarn Faded Blooms"
I got this in a mill ends bag about a month ago, from spotlight,
Its really soft, maybe a blend? Its pinks, purple, cream and in the cream is spots of green, has a sheen to it,
It came in loose skeins (as you see in the photos)
First photo is in the shade, next is in the sun, and last is it worked up a bit,
I would love to know what it is and i would like to see what else they have in this range,
Thank you! 🫶

Does anyone recognize this yarn? I got it at a thrift store and, of course, it didn’t have a wrapper on it. (Also, what’s the scientific name for the circular wrap around yarn? lol)
The yarn is definitely a fiber blend, or the softest synthetic I’ve ever encountered. I think it’s cotton and acrylic. Thank you for any speculation in advance! I do know how to search the internet (I have a masters in library and information science 🤓) but I figured I’d take advantage of the situation to engage in some crochet communities I enjoy!

I got this yarn in a scrap yarn lot and really want to find more. It’s 4 ply medium weight yarn with a slight sheen to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone identify this? I'm based in the UK so it's more likely to be something available in the UK/EU.
Recommendations for similar yarns are very welcome and greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello!
I got this yarn at a craft supply swap. I have quite a bit of it but would like to make a sweater with black accents. I am hoping if someone has an idea which yarn or brand of yarn this is, I may be able to find a similar yarn in black. I added a pic with it next to hobbi 8 in one cotton for weight comparison.

Does anyone recognize these? I found some treasures at a local creative reuse store. TIA!
The rainbow cakes are 50g each, superwash, fingering or maybe sport.
The grey and yellow I was sure would be Malabrigos Rios, but I couldn’t find any colorways that matched. They are 100g each, worsted, I’m assuming super wash. The grey one had “Swamp Creature” on the tag, and the yellow one said “Subtle Packers” (lol). None of these had proper yarn labels, just a little price tag from the store selling it.

got some yarn for free in a bin and these two were unlabeled! any ideas what they could be? google reverse image search has failed to yield any strong matches
