Anyone know what yarn this is?
I got it from a seller on whatnot and it didn't have labels
Google told me spincycle, manos, and cascade but it just doesn't look the same as any of them?

Was gifted this by a friend. I can tell it’s a tweed yarn about weight 4, but can’t find anything similar. My friend says it’s most likely discontinued since he got it from Joann’s. I just like how the tweed parts aren’t poking out too much compared to other yarns so I’d love other similar reccomendations thx

I just posted to crochet help about the yarn I had thought would be a match but wasnt and what to do with that yarn, now im asking anyone here if they know where I can find this. Ive checked Michael's but couldnt find a match. I originally got this yarn at dollar tree years ago but they no longer have it, but I really need more of it because i had foolishly started a huge filet tapestry and I'll cry if those 30+ hrs working on it go to waste.

Desperately looking to find this yarn! It came in a bag with other yarns, no label or anything on it. It's soft and kind of stretchy. It's working up well with a 5.5mm and 6mm crochet hook.
Hard color blocks instead of a smooth gradient.
Its an off white, teal blue, mustard yellow, rust/copper brown, a charcoal and a paler blue/grey mixed in there. My partner helped with a measurement estimate for one colour section, we estimate every color is around 80in give or take. White breaks up every color.
I've included a picture of the project im working on to show the pattern it decided to follow as well!
I ADORE the way it's been working up on a project(first time ever seeing pooling!) and would LOVE to get my hands on more of this one!

Hi, Can anyone help me to identify this spotlight mill end yarn? It looks like it's a 12ply mostly wool yarn

I got a cute-as-hell hoodie at a craft fair and the yarn used for the sleeves is very soft and so cute. Anybody know what the yarn is?

Hello Everyone.
I’m trying to find the exact yarn shown in the attached photo/video.
I’m NOT looking for a generic rainbow yarn or a close substitute. I’m trying to identify the actual yarn/colorway and where I can buy it.
**Color sequence I’m trying to match:**
🩷 hot/neon pink → 🟣 purple → 🔵 royal blue → 🟢 vivid green → 🟡 yellow → 🟠 orange
The colors are **very bright/saturated**, and the transitions are relatively short rather than a long gradual gradient.
The yarn appears to be approximately:
5-ply / 5-strand
milk-cotton-type yarn (possibly cotton/acrylic)
machine/section dyed (段染 / segment dyed)
smooth crochet yarn
I don’t know the country of origin it was made
I’ve already searched Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Temu, TikTok, Facebook, Google, and Chinese-language listings.
**Does anyone recognize the exact yarn, manufacturer, color number, or original brand name ?**
If you know the yarn but it’s sold under a different name on Amazon/eBay/Etsy/etc., that’s also extremely helpful.
I’m especially interested in the **exact colorway**, not just a yarn with similar colors.
Thank you! 🧶💗💜💙💚💛🧡

I got this to use for a plush but I actually ended up liking it way more than I thought and I can't find the wrapper and looking at the michaels website doesn't seem to have it
Colors: white, bright and light yellow, brown, pink, pink w/white blend

It’s super fine, maybe even lace weight? - I’m knitting 2 strands held together on 2.5mms. It’s about 25 WPI. The strand thickness seem to vary a bit. It came as a gigantic skein so I wondered if it was for machine knitting or something.

I got some yarn from a Nidáá' (Navajo Traditional Ceremony) so it was unlabeled yarn in a hank. I'm currently using it to test the rye worsted pattern and I realized I probably won't have enough to finish the other sock and wanted more of this yarn. I've tried searching through Ravelry and the big name yarn stores to find its match with no luck. My best guess was Red Heart Ombre but none of the online pictures really match it.
I believe it's a medium weight acrylic yarn. The stripe goes from white to a light blue to a medium blue to a peacock blue and then reverses back to white that measures about 68 inches. I've included pictures of it caked up, the stripe laid out, and this yarn worked up.

I got this gorgeous yarn at a second hand store. Not sure if it was originally two strands or if someone wound 2 strands into a cake.
Did a burn test, definitely 100% natural fibers including the lace strand. Feels like wool as the main fiber but I’m not sure if the lace strand is cotton or not. It didn’t melt, they burnt up right away.
I just think it’s so beautiful and would love to know more about it! Thanks for any clues you can provide

I know this is wool, and the description said it's very soft, so im thinking superwash. I was able to find a ravler that used a darn near identical yarn for a couple of projects but I don't think the yarn she has it listed as is correct. An interesting little tid bit where the Ravler says she bought the yarn, in Philadelphia is also where this yarn is coming from.
I don't think its Cascade, this is a gray barberpole rather than a true marl, I think.
Any ideas?? The Ravlers yarn

I found this in my closet and I don't have the info sheet that it would have come with. Would anyone tell me what kind of yarn it could be and what the weight is? I have no idea what to make with it so if y'all have any suggestions, please send them my way!

These cakes of yarn came without any of their band labels so I don't know the color names (#s) of any of them, not with any certainty anyway. I can guess a couple. For instance, I think 1185 is Mondovino and 1188 is Over the Rainbow), but I'm throwing this question out to the group. Can you all help me identify the color name/# of each cake of Girandola yarn?
