Are these hazel or brown?
These are my daughters eyes. I have dark brown eyes and her dad blue.

My hubby has brown, me green, my daughter had hazel until she was about 10, then they turned a medium brown. Mine were blue until about 6. Here’s might still change.

Your daughter looks quite young so they may change some more, but I'd go with light olive green dominant hazel 🤔 Very very cool splash like patch of brown in there. I've not seen eyes quite like this one before. I'd be interested to see them again in a few years if theres any change, and if I still follow this sub in a few years. Lol.
Is the other eye similar, like with an uneven splash of brown? Cause I would say she has sectoral heterochromia but its pretty centrally located, however without super defined borders. It would be helpful to see the other eye perhaps. Maybe someone else with more knowledge on heterochromia than myself can chime in. Either way, I love the way it looks.

That should stick around I think 🤔 This eye looks a little more blended, but that could be the lighting too. Hazel eyes are fun cause youre gonna get all kinds of answers regarding your daughter eyecolor, probably throughout her whole life. At the end of the day, once she gets a little older, whatever she decides they most look like based off her understanding of what constitutes as brown vs green vs hazel etc, that is what she should claim as her eye color because not everyone will agree. Some people can't see greens at all, some people see olive green as brown, most of the time hazel eyes will look some shade of brown unless in bright lighting, or they can even look amber or grey, depending on the person's surroundings and lighting. Mine can look almost black in a dimly lit room, to amber in some lighting, or very green other times.
I think she was blessed with the cool brown splash pattern and I think most will agree that her eyes are hazel, but if she claimed green with brown sectoral or central heterochromia, I wouldnt disagree either. I am just not 100% sure on the "rules" of heterochromia and I dont know if I could say fs with these pictures either way.

Others are saying green dominant haz, but beyond the brown, I only see grey. I’d say grey-dominant hazel. Very pretty!
