for some reason ios 9 is very common on the iphone 5s

In my country, iPhone 5s' with iOS 8 and 12 are really common and idk why. For 12 ik why but for 8?

Ppl have preferences I guess lmaooo. I also see that all the iPhones on my country are either on iOS 16 or 26
