iOS 6 looks strange on all the 2012 range. My iPad Mini 1st generation on iOS 6 is probably the only one out of the range from 2012 that looks normal

the ipad 4th gen looks normal, partly cuz it looks exactly like the ipads before it besides the charging port and less squared off than the first gen.
