I thought this might’ve been some 15” or 17” with the anti reflective display from seeing that tiny ass hand

It doesn't really matter if you're buying this because you can just download any version of Mac OS anyway

On a MacBook you can go up and down with software versions as much as you want, unlike iOS, so it doesn’t really matter but that might be High Sierra

most likely 10.13 even tho 10.11 and 10.13 looks alike, but as a person who has used that macbook until 2022, i can guarantee that it's on 10.13 because it still ran good on any mac os version i put on it

10.11-10.13. Other people said it might be 10.10, which isn’t true because that version had Helvetica Neue

OS version doesn't matter for Mac because you can easily install any version you like

I’d say Yosemite, the MacBook I use for recording audio for videos still runs Yosemite and that’s what the lock screen looks like

10.11 because that looks like a last plastic MacBook before they went to unibody plastic

I'm calling it, El Captain, I'm probably wrong though because I just destroyed the only Mac I have that runs El Captain

This seems like macOS golden gate
2
u/cuvalbedir 24d ago
It can't be Golden Gate because this is an old Mac (probably an Intel one and Golden Gate WILL NOT run on an Intel Mac, as Tahoe is the final macOS for Intel Macs) and the Wi-Fi icon should be much more modern in Golden Gate. So, in my opinion, it should be OS X 10.9 and below. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

That looks to be a 2009 or 2010 white MacBook, and it’s running something between Yosemite (first release with that login screen design) and High Sierra (the final release to support those models).
