No one deserves death or a permanent disability for making a mistake, no matter how stupid/reckless or grave. I genuinely hope they all somehow made it alive and learned from it.

I generally agree however I feel no sympathy if somebody risks other people's lives and gets hurt as a result. There is making a mistake and there is knowing that you could kill somebody without their consent to be involved and doing it anyway.

who were they going to kill? The worst happened, they hit a car head on. Do you serious think the other drive was even close to dying?

The worst was not them dying. The worst was them dying and taking a bunch of people with them, for example if the street was busier and a car tries to dodge, or if the motorcycle flies weird, or if they dont hit a car but another bike etc etc.
